Domaine Roy & Fils
Willamette Valley, Oregon
Domaine Roy & Fils was founded in 2012 by Marc-Andre Roy and Jared Etzel, sons of the pioneering winegrowers who established the renowned Beaux Frères estate. With deep roots in the Willamette Valley and a shared dedication to sustainable farming and precision winemaking, the duo built Domaine Roy & Fils from the ground up, focusing on purity of expression and meticulous vineyard management.
The estate spans 42 acres across two acclaimed sites in the Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton appellations. Thirty-two acres are planted to Pinot Noir and ten to Chardonnay, with each block cultivated and harvested with an exacting approach. From soil health initiatives to clonal selection, the estate demonstrates an ongoing commitment to advancing quality through research and thoughtful innovation.
Since 2023, Domaine Roy & Fils has been guided by the Frescobaldi family—whose winemaking legacy dates back over seven centuries. With their acquisition of the property, the Frescobaldis bring both resources and a global perspective to the Willamette Valley, enhancing the estate’s ability to produce wines of distinctive character and depth. This partnership continues to push the boundaries of what Pinot Noir and Chardonnay can achieve in Oregon’s finest terroirs.

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley, Oregon
The calling card of Domaine Roy & Fils, the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is the only Pinot from the winery that comes from both estate vineyards–Iron Filbert in Dundee Hills and Quartz Acron in Yamhill-Carlton. The wine sees 15 days of maceration on the skins followed by 10 months of lees aging in barriques, of which only 10% are new oak. The wine expresses the signature style of Domaine Roy & Fils, favoring elegance over power.

Willamette Valley Chardonnay

Willamette Valley Chardonnay is a skillful blend of the Iron Filbert Vineyard in Dundee Hills and the Quartz Acorn Vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton, planted with Clones 76 and 95. The Chardonnay fruit is sorted slowly by hand and pressed whole-cluster, then aged on lees for 10 months in 5% new French Oak.
